Payment

You can pay using most major credit or debit cards (3D Secure), Paypal, Google Pay, Apple Pay, Shop Pay or gift cards. We now also offer YouPay and Klarna too.

Some local payment methods are also available including Bancontact in Belgium and iDEAL in Netherlands.

All payments are processed securely through Shopify Payments (powered by Stripe).

Your statement will show the descriptor 'SP-Lace' rather than our full business name. We change this every 6 months or so to protect your privacy.

Enter the discount code into the appropriate field at checkout and click apply. The relevant amount will then be deducted from your order total, if applicable.

You can only use one discount code per order so we recommend you choose the best value one when checking out.

Enter the gift card number into the appropriate field at checkout. The amount available will then be deducted from your order total.

If you return the items, it will be recredited and sent to you by e-mail. If you have placed an order with split payment, this will be refunded in the same way as it reached us.

If the balance was not completely redeemed, the remaining credit can be used for a future order.

Shipping

Yes! We use plain brown packaging with no revealing details about the business or contents inside the box.

If you opt for one of our gift boxes, we ship them in custom fit, plain brown outer boxes, keeping the gift box in pristine condition, and your surprise hidden from any prying eyes!

If you are order from outside the EU (eg UK) then we do have to include customs documents with product descriptions. However, we will endeavour to keep this as generic/non specific as possible to help you maintain your privacy.

Ireland Shipping

  • Standard Shipping (An Post/UPS Tracked): €7.99 for orders under €29.99 / €5.99 for orders €30 - €59.99 / Free for orders over €60
  • Estimated delivery time of 2-5 business days, excluding preorders.

Northern Ireland Shipping

  • Standard Shipping (UPS): £9 or Free for orders over £90
  • Estimated delivery time of 4-7 business days, excluding preorders.

UK Shipping

  • Standard Shipping (UPS): £9.99 or Free for orders over £130
  • Estimated delivery time of 4-7 business days, excluding preorders. 
  • Note: Customs processing may result in a longer delivery window. 

EU Shipping

  • Standard Shipping (UPS): From €14.99 - €23.99 or Free for orders over €150
  • Estimated delivery time of 5-10 days depending on location, excluding preorders.

Yes. We use UPS for shipping and they have Access Points around the country that you can redirect your parcel to if you won't be home.

There is no additional charge for this but you will need to add a note at checkout advising us of your preferred pick up point.

Yes! Though it depends on the material and components. We'd be happy to help you dispose of it responsibly, even if it was purchased elsewhere. You can reach out to us directly to find out more.

Other

We use the term "preorder" to refer to items that are not in stock right now. This can include items that have sold out or that are expected to arrive in incoming deliveries.

Preorders generally only affect a small percentage of our range, as we maintain a physical inventory for the majority of our products. However, as a small business, we do not carry the same depth of inventory as larger brands out there. This can result in some items selling out faster than we can restock them, hence the need for preorders.

The wait time for preordered items is usually 1-2 weeks, however some can take slightly longer. This is usually outlined on the product page though to give you a guide towards your expected waiting time before you place your order. Preorder and in-stock information can be found next to the price on the product page so you can make informed purchasing decisions.

Please note that orders containing preordered items, or a mix of preordered and in-stock items, may experience slightly longer lead times. As part of our commitment to sustainability, we only ship orders once we have all products in stock.

We are happy to support individuals and organizations who share our mission and are doing meaningful work. However, as a small business with limited resources, we have a small, selective budget for sponsorship.

If you would like to request sponsorship from Lace & Tassels, please send us an email at hello@laceandtassels.com with the subject line "SPONSORSHIP REQUEST." Provide a detailed description of your work/event, how it aligns with our mission and how getting involved can be of benefit to us.

Keep in mind that our budget for sponsorships is limited and is often preplanned 2-3 months in advance, so send your request as early as possible for the best chance at securing sponsorship. We usually cannot accomodate last minute requests but don't hesitate to ask as cancellations do come up.

No. We're an online retailer.

While we don't keep charging cables in stock, we can source these for most of the models we carry. Alternatively most of the brand manufacturers are usually happy to assist.

No we are not.

We could dropship but we prefer to add a personal touch to our orders. We could not do that if we dropshipped.

We keep the majority of our stock on hand.
